holy jesus

FUCK

that was a long one yesterday...
got to al's just before half 12 (in the afternoon)
and literally did not stop till half 5 (in the morning)

so if you see me today
and im just ever so slightly out of it
have no fear...
a will hopefully be back to normal...whatever that is...shortly

WHO WANTS TO BE BORED WITH PICTURES FROM MY DAY?!
do i have any takers...

i don't care if you want to see them or not...

(see what i mean ^ totally lost the plot...)
more so then usual...

This, my darlings, is my arm...why is it tangoed i hear you ask in dismay...
i don't use fake tan...never have and never will...so i appreciate your concern...
that orange tinge to my skin is in fact a healthy lathering of Mueller HOT STUFF topical analgesic balm...for athletes...HOTTEST STRENGTH...
as in
HOTTER THEN THE SURFACE OF THE SUN, IF THE SURFACE OF THE SUN WAS IN HELL

i am tell you, that shit is serious. especially when you have a tendency to be slightly heavy handed when applying it...because i knew i wouldn't be taking any breaks, i literally put so much on in one go..that it never actually sank in to my skin... O.O
your not really supposed to do that...but...oh well...
as it started to soak in...several hours later...i noticed that the affected skin, had actually developed quite a mild heat rash...this wasn't as worrying as the sensation that my bones were on fire...
so i washed it off...at about half 12, last night, because its form of pain, wasn't much fun anymore...

this was my view for most of yesterday...STEAM...
by christ she is a cruel mistress... O.O
why go to a sauna/steam room for an hour and fork out cash during these recessionary times, when you can do something useful and beneficial at the same time...take up ironing...its an upper body work out...keeps you busy...and the steam opens up your pours so that after 17 HOURS you have a healthy glow...
who am i kidding

i looked like the living dead after all that steam...my hair, which only plays nice with water when its coming from a shower head...had totally gone hay-wired...and im pretty sure i have a slight sore throat from all the moist warm air i was inhaling...
also
if you are taking up ironing of this sort...
wear arm warmers...
it will save your wrists, and cushion your hands so that they don't get little callouses...like mine did...

This, dears, is a trolly...
filled with chair covers...
doesn't look that daunting does it...

how wrong you would be....

this was my last rail...i had already done two at this stage...and each can hold around...140/150...so when i got to this point, i was like, awesome, home fucking stretch...theres my happy bunny pjs on the back of the chair, smiling at me...i was so tempted, just for comfort, to put them on when i started getting quite desperate yesterday...but it know...once shoes come off and pjs are put on, something inside me clicks and thinks 'oh, were finished working...awesome...shut down'i realized that the hard way, when i was at college...'oh ill just wear something comfortable...and do work on the bed'ten minutes later, im face down into my embroidery hoop...with my hand sewn into the swatch of fabric... O.Oso...i couldn't let myself...and as much as i thought...maybe ill just stop now and get up early and do the rest...i know that wouldn't happen...i have to keep the momentum up, or i lose it...and its so hard to get it back again.its like, when i got my back tattoo re-coloured and fixed up...i didn't want to take any breaks, at all really...because once you interrupt that level of concentration, its a pretty hard treck back to that point...so i would rather work throughout the night, and have it over and done with, then sleep on it, and have to face into it the next day....

So yes, my right hand looks like it belongs to an 80year old woman...my left wrist is sad and burned...my feet at pissed off that i wore such ridiculous shoes for standing in all day, my neck is wondering if it will ever straighten out again, as is my back...my head is fuzzy from tiredness...but on the plus side
My right arm is BANGING!!!!
well...a little more banging
Im going to have a shower now, and try to regain consciousness...and hopefully, i will never feel the need to write a blog about ironing...again
