halloween...

so, right…let me see what ive been up to since i last updated…

got mum to dye my hair friday…same colour…nice and dark dark brown. i mite just dye it black for the fuck of it next time…maybe…everyone thinks its black now anyway…im a bit scared tho…because its very hard, im told, to get black out…well see…yes, so, hair dyed, good good :)

then saturday, i didn't do too too much, al droped her folks off at the airport, so when she got home, i went to hers to have a little halloween party with her and her brother, aunt and nanny. we carved pumpkins…and watched a bit of the x factor…watched the first jaws…which i had never actually seen in its entirety…it is actually really really good…a lot better then i thought it was going to be…for some reason. it still looks amazingly fresh…the cinematography…camera angles…the colour…its just…well its lovely to look at really. so watched that…ate a pile a crud…watched a bit of the rocky horror picture show…which sent me down this weird fuzzy tunnel of vague memories of the last time i was in america. i was 16 and on my own over there. brave little shit that i was…don't know if id be so brave now…no…i would…but im surprised at myself for being so brave then. it was when i was staying for the week in jersey, with deanna…and one of the nights, this little cinema/theatre…which i cant remember where it was now that i think back…they were putting on a screening of the rocky horror picture show. because i had never seen it before, i was considered a rocky horror virgin, so i had to draw a 'v' on my forehead, in black eyeliner i think…and then…at the beginning of the show, all the virgins were called up on stage, and we had to eat twizzlers that were stuck in the other virgins bras…it was interesting…and seeing as i was on stage, i didn't bat an eyelid and just got on with it…the show was totally interactive, and the film was being played in the background, but there were actors doing things on the stage in front of the screen…and then the audience were like…chanting certain things at specific times…there were like dances and hand movements and all sorts of things…i couldn't keep up…it was crazy :)…so yeh…sort of was thinking about that…and then i got quite sleepy, so went off to bed :)

set my alarm for 7, because i HAD to be in sligo, on graces doorstep at 10…it was a challenge. i wanted to prove to myself that it could in fact be done…

me and al were up and ready and in the car at like…half 8…when we realized that there was no petrol…just fumes basically…so drove up to the garage…CLOSED…

closed till 9…

fantastic…

so we went back to the house to wait, had some breakfast…well…not actually sure if i did have breakfast now that i think of it…drawing a blank…

anyway…filled up at the station at about 10 past i supposed, then pelted it down to sligo.

for halloween

to watch lil bug bug go trick or treating, and spend time with gracey and liudas :)

got to graces house at about 10 past 10…which meant that i FAILED!!!!! 

but next time…oh yes…next time it will be a different story :)

i will win :)

think grace and liudas were genuinely shocked that we actually got there around the time we said we would be there :)

lilly was down for her nap, so me and al drove into town, cuz al wanted a subway…i did NOT give into temptation…thankfully:)

went to tk max…no trip to sligo is complete without the compulsory mooch in the max…al loves it…i think its too much work…

then…what then…went to centra i think to get drink for the evening and a terrys chocolate orange…because who doesn't LOVE them??…and then back to grace and liudas, by which time, bug was just about due up:)

and her cute little sleepy noggin did not disappoint, i assure you :)

i love that child.

thats all i can say on the matter :)

then then then…hmm…what then…anna and jay arrived at some point…and we ordered dominos for lunch and me and liudas went in to collect it…

i think me and liudas get on really well. i like hanging out with him :)

i cradled the mountain of scalding hot food, while he drove, and we all horsed into it fairly lively when we got back to the house…

then banter was had…an impromptu costume was devised by grace…liudas dressed as a knight…al as…as…richmond from the it crowd…i went as a wizardess of sorts…and lilly as a little pumpkin…we waited for what seemed EVER before we spotted the first trick or treaters…which is thought was really weird. i remember noting when we first moved over here that all the young little kids went around, well at home anyway, when it was still pretty bright…like lilleahs age group anyway…but no…we were scouting out, trying to spot the first trick or treater…even town was DEAD during the day the few times i was in there for different things…like, not a soul on the street… w.e.i.r.d.

so by the time the first trick or treater was spotted sophie and lauren had arrived. then, everyone bar me, jay and anna, went next door with lilleah  for the first house…it was so cute watching them all…and watching lilleah go up to the door…then grace drove sophie and lauren back to lauren's to get ready for the night…and she brought lilleah with her, so that they could steal lauren's candy and lilly could see the other kiddies all dressed up…

grace didn't stay gone long…i think she quitted literally went over, took half their candy and shot back again :D lol…

so then, the rest of us, just did a couple house with the bug. she loves loves loves walking outside…happy out in her little wellies trotting down the footpath…so so cute :)

but, it was collide…so we didn't stay out very long, and when we got back to the house, anna and jay hopped straight back into the car and headed off home, for work and stuff the next day. but it was really nice seeing them. they are really lovely, and laid back and funny:)

then then then…hmm…lilleah got a mini mini pack of chocolate buttons, which she crammed into her gob, nearly all in one go…then she got some jellies, which she also hoarded like a little hamster….

then, it was bath and bedtime, because with the clocks changing and everything saturday, she was a little out of sorts a bit…

after bed and bath time, sophie and lauren landed back, sophie was dressed as a witch and lauren was a pumpkin…her and lilly were twins :) and we all watched hocus pocus, which was super cool! i haven't seen it in years, and what better time to watch it then halloween…and for a movie made in 1993…i was surprised how good that cat looked…very surprised…love that movie…sarah jessica parker, NOT really looking like a foot…and general funny things that just go over your head as a little one:) sweet…

then then…drinks…and then we stuck on borate….which was good…but soph and lauren left halfway through and alex and grace went off to bed early as well…so me and liudas just stayed up, playing black jack, and talking and drinking…till bout half 2, or 3…then we went to bed.

all in all

i had a really nice day:)

i know it wasn't too too wild…but…well…need i say more :)
